An Art Deco pair of two-light bronze, brass, and opaline sconces dating from the 1930s in the style of Gilbert Poillerat. Note the lovely torch shape and geometrical clean lines, typical of Art Deco period design. This model is no longer made and are difficult to find, especially as a pair.
A unique addition to classic and modern interiors looking to add a touch of French Art Deco history to their walls. The opaline shades are in great condition; Please note the dents as seen in photos to the brass torches as this rare model shows signs of wear over its lifetime. These have been re-electrified for European power.
Condition and wear consistent with age and use.
