This circa 19th century library ladder is beautifully handcrafted.
63″ high, 20″ wide, 46″ deep when open and 6″ deep when closed160cm high, 50cm wide, 117cm deep when open and 15cm deep when closed
Made from Larch (meleze), a deciduous conifer which is found in the alps of central Europe. The timber is a lovely honey color, preserved with beeswax polish. The hinges have been beautifully crafted, with great attention to detail.
This ladder looks as fabulous as a statement piece in a bedroom as it does in a library.
Condition and wear consistent with age and use.
