Description

A comfortable pair of late 19th century Louis XV style armchairs with carved wooden frames and a warm honey toned patina. The gracefully shaped frames feature serpentine crested backs, padded scrolled arms, and cabriole legs with subtle carved accents. Brass nailhead trim outlines the upholstery and highlights the elegant curves of the woodwork.Both chairs are upholstered in a blue and cream checked cotton fabric that gives them a light and inviting appearance. The textile shows some wear and gentle fading but retains its charm and suits the character of the frames. The seats are generously cushioned and comfortable.
