Mid-Century Demijohn Casket – 1940S

Description

This antique iron basket was originally used to carry Dame Jeanne wine bottles. Dame Jeanne bottles are also known as Bon Bons or Demijohns.

With an industrial appearance and in excellent condition, it is suitable to use to store firewood, upcycle into a light fitting, hold pot plants or as a freestanding sculptural piece inside, or in the garden.
