Description
Dating from the early twentieth-century (possibly earlier), these very heavy finials are made from cast iron. They have a very dark green/ blue patina that is almost black. They were repainted but not recently. Originally used to adorn gate posts. A rare find and they are a great scale. Very heavy.
Light wear.
